Playing
That is what I did for this layout - just had a play and experimented to see what would happen using this ad as inspiration. This style is pretty far outside my comfort zone but c'est la vie! This is me cooking dinner, reading Simple Scrapbooks, listening to my MP3 player and drinking wine - multi tasking in other words. The photos were horrible so I played with them in PSE (maybe update with exactly what I did later). Hmm - looking at this I'm thinking that maybe it fits the No 8 Wired dare (black, white and one other colour). Two challenges in one - that is multitasking! Edited to add a change based on Karen's suggestion - being a chronic space filler I was trying to avoid the temptation on this one - not sure if it works better now - but I am embracing imperfection :)

I like what you've done. 'cept I think less white box on the upper right corner. maybe extend the red or black ... make a triangle if you don't want to make the block level with the left side?

Sometimes you just have to put *something* in the space ... not necessarily fill it ... just so the white space looks deliberate. I felt it was a little unbalanced before.

I think it looks terrific - I don't know what the change was but I like the page now for sure. Great use of the ad inspiration. I love using ads from time to time - the graphic feel of them gives me so many different ideas - especially since I'm NOT graphically inclined!

Sharon this is a fabbo layout. I thought I had already commented on it buy my comment seems to have disappeard. Rest assured I said nice things. Love this layout. It makes such a strong statement about who/what you are.
Ohhh, I really like how the layout turned out. Great look on the photos, different. Need to join you on that glass of wine, LOL.
